Curried Hake

Curried Hake - black bowl

Serves: 2

380g hake fillet
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 heaped tablespoon roasted masala
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 clove garlic, grated
Zest of 1 lemon
½ teaspoon salt
Fresh coriander (to serve)

  1. Heat the oven to 200℃.
  2. Lay the hake onto an oven tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl mix the olive oil, masala, ginger, garlic, lemon zest and salt together. Spoon this marinade over the hake spreading it evenly. Flip the fish over and marinade the other side.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve with fresh coriander over the top.
