I am a fully registered dietician. I am a well presented, self-motivated and confident individual. I am extremely passionate about everything heath, fitness and general well-being. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, highly computer literate, love presenting and have excellent research skills.
I have had the privilege to play sport at a very competitive level and have represented both my province and country in sport on a number of different occasions. This is where my love for health and nutrition grew as I gained first-hand experience as to how it can impact performance.
As a dietician, I function both as an individual and as a member of a multidisciplinary team that strives to deliver the most effective medical treatment. I am able to translate and communicate complex nutritional information into every day, culture specific and easily understandable information about food. I love sharing current and scientifically sound information with those who want to learn more about nutrition and the impact it plays in one’s health.
I am empathetic, with good people skills and interact well with people of all ages and cultures. I enjoy and value being part of a patient’s journey to healthier living and the prevention of disease. I am passionate about learning, applying new knowledge and growing further in the field of nutrition.
