Make these Raw Protein Bars for a protein and carb reload after a heavy workout. Healthy, tasty and nutritious all in one bar.
2 cups gluten free rolled oats
2 tbs Wellness Protein Powder (Original)
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs raw organic cacao powder
1tsp vanilla bean powder
2 tsp cinnamon
½ cup smashed raw walnuts (toasted)
¼ cup mixed seeds
15 Medjool dates
¼ cup desiccated coconut
dash of Himalayan salt
200 g raisins, cranberry’s or goji berries (optional)
To Pour: Melt 70% dark chocolate to pour over the top.
Pit the dates and soak in warm water until malleable
Blend dates into a jam – add soaking water to get a pouring consistency.
Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Line a 9 x 9” baking pan with baking paper. (this is a square cake tin)
Press mixture firmly into pan with a wooden spoon, ensuring all sides are even.
Place in the freezer for two hours.
Decorate with pouring chocolate over the top and refreeze.
Cut into bite sized pieces and refreeze. Eat straight out the deep freeze.
